Liv Bec Headlines a Night of Jersey Bands at Asbury Lanes
This past Saturday, Asbury Lanes featured a night of New Jersey bands headlined by the talented Liv Bec. The band, who “make their music like a breakup text and a Molotov cocktail”, played a great set of catchy songs including their latest release, “Easy”. Bec’s energy and emotion definitely clicked with the crowd, many of whom sang along to every song.
The bill also included an intense set from rockers best dressed ghost. This was my third time seeing them this year and they never disappoint. Alt pop/rock band Lilies of David gave the crowd a solid performance, led by singers Dierdra McGrath and Jeremy Rotolo. And the night was kicked off by the talented local songwriter Monte Maybe who was performing for the first time with a full band, though you would never have known that from how good they sounded.
Keep an eye out for when these talented artists play near you, and go support the rich and diverse Jersey music scene. Until then, you can check out their work wherever you stream your music.
