Asbury Underground Returns for the Prudential North to Shore Festival
Asbury Park is arguably the music capital of the Garden State. Our little city by the sea is home to Sea Hear Now, the legendary Stone Pony, the Paramount Theatre with all its incredible music history, and is a major part of the Prudential North to Shore Festival.
One of our favorite musical events is Asbury Underground, an art and music crawl that showcases the creative talents of local artists and musicians. It is a unique celebration that features a diverse array of visual art, performance art, and live music that fosters community engagement and supports the local creative scene. And for the past few years in has become a staple of North to Shore.
This year’s lineup is stacked with a who’s who of local musicians including Bobby Mahoney, Nicole Atkins, Williams Honor, Emily Grove, Pam Flores, Doug Zambon, The Foes of Fern, Dentist, Deseree Spinks, and Yawn Mower. The day kicks off at noon and Rebel Supply Co., The Showroom, Asbury Park Brewery, Parlor Gallery, Lock and Shade, and many more downtown businesses will play host to this incredible group of artists. And like last year, the crawl concludes with a moment of zen from the band Church and State at Over the Moon Art Studios.
So come join us for an unforgettable experience that highlights the artistic heartbeat of the Asbury Park!
Asbury Underground takes place on Saturday, June 21 and you can find the full schedule and lineup here.
